Nothing new here,jamaicans are treated in a similar fashion at jamaican airports.

It can go both ways. I have traveled to places where when the immigration officers see a Jamaican passport they give you a welcoming smile as ask about Jamaica. In some place you get scrutinized and a strange look. The one experience I remember is traveling from the Schoenefeld airport in Germany. I was scrutinized and questioned. In fact they said they never saw a Jamaican passport before. The other passengers sympathized with me when I finally got on the plane.

They chose to be what they are. Jamaicans are in a different position.
One can change their name.

Persons who laughed at you shouldn't have. Jamaicans and Nigerians are view in the same light where scamming etc are concern. We even have that Muslim who was deported from England and now no one want him. So persons are taking a keen interest in this case as well. So Jamaicans should never believe that they are so secure because we aren't. We have to be on guard at all times place the good Lord in our daily plannings.
