The Jamaican government is to pursue diplomatic efforts to resolve the difficulties encountered by Jamaican-born Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal, who has been entangled in controversial deportation proceedings.

The Islam preacher, who was ordered deported, is yet to leave Kenya after efforts by the authorities in Nairobi were thwarted by the Gambian government who refused entry to Al-Faisal for his deportation to Jamaica.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr. Ronald Robinson says the government has issued instructions to the top Jamaican diplomat in South Africa to resolve the problems being faced by Al-

The jamaican government have the power to issue diplomatic passport to him.
that would allow him to transit these countries without the need for transit Visa.
They know, but they wanted to keep him in prisonin kenya.
is why they did nothing so far.

weh u rahtid u come wid issuing a diplomatic passport to a supposed terrorist...is bad enuff seh wi haffi tek bak dem bad man whe come outta prison much less dis yah igglah...

an wat would be the significance of said diplomatic passport if u gi it to smaddy whe a get deported...is not like di man did mek yaad him home...a juss tru nobody no want him n a yaad him bawn y we haffi tek him

He is equally a citizen as every other Jamaican citizen. The government has the responsibillity to get him home if he is being held in prison because he cannot get home.They do that all the while.
when people get asylum in embassy.

embassy give them diplomatic passport to prevent other governments from interfere.

who dweet all di while cause dat man whe did live eena one airport fi how long till Hollywood all mek movie bout him, neva get no diplomatic passport fr him country...

so tell mi an instance wen Ja dweet...n if any country dweet is usually some sheggery wid hostage taking etc, like how Canada did gi dem US citizens Canadian passport fi dem sneak outta Iran

The man didn;t have any country. This man don't even need a passport to tell his country.
The country have to get him home.
country do that. It Is part of international law,.
That every country have to respect.
