naw sah...di website ongle open to we from dat year at school...we know each odda very well cause picture post etc...but mi notice seh even wen mi a read odda tings,say fi instance di paper a yaad, every striking smaddy ha hyphenated name.

Fad Evan? Naah man ..dat a gwaan lang time.. All a my HS friends dem have dem name hyphen to. I still kept my last name in the middle. Some people do it for diff reasons but it's something I know been happening in JA long time.

For example, I had mine doubled from the seventies in order to have all the right names on the certifikit dem considering that I got married in college...

I use a hyphenated last name and I would <span style="font-weight: bold">NEVER</span> give up the name that my father gave me. My children will not have hyphenated names as they will have their father's name.

women hyphenate their names because their degrees are usually in or some of their degrees are in their maiden names and they go by their husband's name.

I fixed it for you ... there are women who do just because of their attachment to their maiden names and I think this is a high percentage in this category so stop speaking for everybody.

They don't havet ot do that.

Mywife is attached toi her maidenname and she never change it. and that is manyyears now.
It is just easier for her.
