here we go again: Austrian missing

An Austrian who was visiting the island has gone missing.

He is Christoph Eckerstorser, 30, of Algen Schlaegl, Austria, who <span style="font-weight: bold">arrived in the island on Thursday, December 31</span>, and was staying at Paradise Acres, St James. He has been <span style="font-weight: bold">reported missing since Friday, January 1. </span>
He is of Caucasian descent. His height, build and mode of dress were not ascertained.

Reports are that on January 1, Eckerstorser complained of feeling ill and was reportedly taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital by a female companion. The woman is said to have left him there but on her return she was told that Eckerstorser was treated and released.

Efforts to locate him have proven futile. A missing person report was subsequently filed with the police on Wednesday, January 12.

Anyone with information as to Eckerstorser's whereabouts, is being asked to contact the Montego Bay police at 684-9080-5, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.

Anyway someone is missing in Jamaica and it is a serious issue. Many folks go mussing in Jamaica yearly....which reminds me i had planned to livicate the mapping on my Blog to just the missing persons in Jamaica.

I think when it presented graphically on a map it will really bring home the gravity of the problem of missing in Jamaica.

Actually i don't pot my thoughts. I used to just post the Crime and political reports since when i started it you could not post that kind of stuff around here ....or to put more truthfully some folks were not allowed to.

Then I used it to test mapping and data collection. This year I am going to specifically map missing persons.
