Re: Interesting documentary just started on BBC World
Is that worth watching as it is a distraction from what happen to blacks everywhere?
Doesn't blacks in South Africa discriminate against fellow south African blacks too??
Don't it happen in every country blacks are discriminated against?
Blacks discriminate against blacks in every country where they are suppressed.
That mean in every country.
I suppose it gave me the opportunity to post this fact.

Re: Interesting documentary just started on BBC World
It would be interesting to compare the "racialist" explanation for attitudes towards say Polish & Romanian migration to the UK vs. Ethiopian migration to South Africa.
And that is all I'm saying on the matter.
ETA: Actually, no that's not all. I have read (on here and elswhere) that Ethiopians do not like to be put in the same category as black Africans; as such they behave accordingly in Ethiopia. How then do they expect other Africans to treat them? Just wondering...

Well, yes, Ethiopians do tend to affiliate more with semitic people rather than black Africans. As you know, Amharic is a semitic language, close to Arabic.
But hey, don't the English think they're a cut above the Irish? Don't the French look down on Belgians? Jamaicans and small islanders?

However when discussing the above, I would bet that race would only be mentioned WRT Jamaicans v. small islanders. That was the point I was trying (and failed it seems) to make.
