Quake strikes Guadeloupe

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe Sunday at a depth of 42.2 miles or 67.9 kilometres.
The quake struck at 5:43 p.m. at a distance of 21 miles or 34 kilometre east-north-east of Grand-Bourg, Guadeloupe.
There were no immediate reports of damage and no tsunami warning.
The island's emergency services centre said no calls for assistance were made.
