still just the one tragedy. there were minor injuries at the concert.

Dozens injured after fence collapses during Vancouver concert



Dozens of people were injured after a fence collapsed at a concert in Vancouver on Tuesday night according to city officials.

A crowd pushed forward and toppled a metal fence during an Alexisonfire show, injuring numerous people.

The concert was cancelled and police and ambulance attendants were called to the scene.

About 20 people were treated on site and nine people were taken to hospital, according to city manager Penny Ballem.

Most of the injuries were minor.

the sports are still doing okay, after the death of the luger. nuff races have been run on it without injury since then.

The Olympic commission already put out warning to Russia sey dem betta noh try nutten slick dat can cause death or injury to athletes. So mi imagine di scrutiny dem gwine unda years leaading up to their opening ceronomy.

People need to keep things in perspective.

The louger that died had made 26 successful runs down that course, it was human error that killed him. Freak accidents happen! People die in car accidents every year, is it always the fault of the road or the people that own and manage the road?

As far as the weather goes, this is the warmest winter ever recorded in Vancouver, just bad luck not bad organization. Regardless, most of the events seem to be taking place even if they have been delayed a bit here and there.

The rest of the problems have been mostly minor when you compare them to to past Olympics such as the Atlanta summer games where a terrorist attack killed two people and injured well over a hundred and of course let's not forget Munich.

Most of the criticism has come from the British media. Interesting that London is hosting the next Olympic Games!

Hmmm! I guess some people have to try to push others down so that they look better by comparison.
