Cop killed execution style

Homicide detectives attached to the Portmore Police Station in St. Catherine are probing Monday morning's execution style murder of a policeman.
It is reported that shortly after four o'clock, armed thugs went to a house on Rosemary Lane in Naggo Head where Corporal Miguel Cuff, 29, of Cavaliers in St. Andrew who was attached to the Police Statistics Department was spending the weekend with his girlfriend.
Corporal Cuff was called from the house by the men who claimed to be police officers.
They then tied his hands behind his back and took him away in his van to the neighbouring community of Southboro where he was shot three times in the head.
Before leaving, the gunmen set fire to the two storey house and opened fire on the building.
The girlfriend who is said to be a teacher escaped the blazing building and the ensuing gunfire.
Corporal Cuff's body was later found dumped in the Southboro community.
His licensed firearm is missing and is believed to have taken by his killers.

Senator Dwight Nelson, National Security Minister.Meanwhile National Security Minister Dwight Nelson has described the abduction and killing of Corporal Cuff as a particularly callous and deadly assault on an agent of the state.
The Minister lamented that to the extent that his house was burnt; before he was taken out and killed reflect an orchestrated attack on the policeman.
Senator Nelson called on residents of Naggo Head to work with each other to end the bloodshed and carnage caused by rampaging gunmen.
He reminded the residents that gunmen and gang members had a tendency to terrorise them.
Mr. Nelson also implored the residents to move decisively to uproot criminal elements to ensure that their community is safe.
