We were wondering also if Newton stopped to switch dogs so Larry could go back into the lead. Larry being Lance Mackeys famed most winning lead dog. He had put Dribble in front earlier after the girls in heat debacle.

I wonder why they don't have dog sled racing in the winter Olympics?

They have the horse jumping events in the summer Olympics so there is already an event using both man and beast.

it is 33 degrees above zero. Just a few days Newton was battling 30 below. He must be hot, lol.

I imagine sirens are going off at this point. When a musher is 2 miles out they go off and now you will see people starting to congregate at the finish...which is where I'm about to head but I'll watch gps for another sec or so
