LOTS of men wonder why their lady friends insist on carrying a little handbag to every single function or why a woman will cling to her bag for dear life, most times keeping it tucked neatly under her arms. And I know you fellows would love to find out why a woman would get so upset if you peek into her little handbag, especially behind her back.
A woman's handbag is not just a part of her dress, it is like a part of her being, her core. Many men will have a hard time understanding the handbag phenomenon. But if you are curious, let me help you out. Let me be honest with you and tell you why some of us ladies don't want our male friends to look into our bags.
When you look in our handbag, it is like you are looking into our brains. The contents of our handbag can reveal what we are made of, who we are, where we shop, where we live, where we work, what we chew on, where we bank, our favourite make-up line, and lots of other things about us -- maybe even how we think.
A quick glance in the bag can reveal a woman's marital status, profession, tastes, likes, dislikes, and many other things that I cannot hint at right now, lest I be blacklisted from the sisterhood.
Even if you are going to find out these things about a woman in whom you are interested, she will prefer that they are revealed to you over time, and when she is ready, rather than having you snooping and figuring out everything at one go. A woman's handbag contains her personal information, it tells her unique story, and contains some of her private issues.
So men, the next time you see a woman going by clinging to her handbag for dear life, don't ponder the intricacies of it, and don't wonder why the two can never part. Just tell yourself that the handbag thing is a 'woman thing' -- and even in a thousand years you just will not be able to comprehend it.
