Why is that?

I have that feeling cos of my love of Tibet......(used to work for http://www.savetibet.org/).

I know a Chinese girl here who works in a restaurant where a friend works, when I even mentioned the word Tibet, she clammed up....

I would be interested to visit China one day in the future, but 2 friends of mine went for 5(!) days for work there, I had to laugh when he said they went into a shop and 50 shop assistants descended on him asking what he wanted. I can imagine he felt overwhelmed. The weirdest was that he met friends from Domincian Republic where he comes from in the hotel.....

Likkle Mo &amp; I quietly trekked throughout all of China &amp; Hong Kong two years ago...from the far reaches of the Great Wall where we didn't pass another soul to the golden summit of Mt. Emeishan to the Great Buddha in Leshan to the surreal blobs of mountains on the Li River in Guilin, to the teracotta army in Xian...it is a mysterious and magical country...and Tibet...well, the name says it all.

I would re-consider putting it back on your list. If you can put government aside and see the country for it's old beauty outside of the major centres, you would be very happy I am sure. It was a trip that brought me to my knees in tears more than a few time!!

For me, I have been lucky to have been to most of my &quot;TOP&quot; places - and all with my not-so-likkle Mo.

Last summer Chile &amp; Easter Island, China &amp; Hong Kong, Morocco &amp; Algeria....like you said Marielle, too much world, not enough time!!

We are gearing up for (and in th thick of planning) our forage into the Middle East this summer for Likkle Mo's 10th birthday!

Greece: Athens, Santorini, Crete, Egypt: Cairo, Luxor, Abu Simple, Sharm El Shiek, Mt Sinai (and St Catherines monestery), over to Jordan: to sleep under the stars in Wadi Rum, Petra, The Dead Sea, Mt Nebo, Jerash, Amman, Israel: Jericho, Jeruseleum, Bethleham, Tel Aviv

Ahhhh... my dreams have started....

i want to go to south africa - but i want to do it yardie style - i've already checked out guesthomes owned by locals, kinda know what i want to do

and the holy land - just want to feel that vibe

but the plane the plane - i'm gonna have to take oxycotin

argentina is brillant - great shopping - especially for leather - beautiful beaches - very cosmopolititan - like london or paris in buenos aires
