This drug dealer had a beef with one of his soldiers. So he went and got the guys mother and little brother. They had some connections and knew for a fact that there was to be this funeral the next day and that the grave was already dug. So they duct tapped the two people, dug a hole under the grave a little deeper and buried them ALIVE. The next day the funeral was held and they just buried the deceased OVER the mother and son. They found them after someone informed. Top that one.

The stories I could tell you about the things prepetrated by the live in boyfriend, new husband etc.



Let's see how about the fireman who married one of my X students. He was showing signs of mental strain so the wife turned to her pastor and church for help. They were living in a lovely part of town with her mother. Mother came in one night and they were in bed doing bible study (recommended to help with the problem). They smiled and waved at Mom and all was well. The next morning., he killed his wife, set the house on fire, and then shot and killed the firemen who came to put out the fire.

<span style="font-size: 14pt">This one has just continued to bother me...the main thing being HOW COULD THIS BE POSSIBLE (due to odor, even Nanook didn't buy this one). This article in yesterday's paper sought to explain that question, just a bizarre set of circumstances. </span>

For more than six weeks, room 222 at the Budget Lodge at 1533 E. Brooks didn't give up its secret.

Cleaning crews were in and out, dusting, vacuuming, washing out the sink and toilet. Five times people rented the room and spent the night.

Finally on Monday, the cleaning crew said room 222 didn't smell right.


Sony Millbrook
They dismantled the bed and found the body of Sony Millbrook, a mother of five who was reported missing Jan. 27.

Her body had apparently been there all along, entombed in a space under the mattress and box springs in a metal frame that sat square on the floor.

The body may not have decomposed quickly because the room was likely cold when it wasn't in use, said Dr. Richard Jantz, professor emeritus and director of the Forensic Anthropology Center at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Also, the weight from the mattress and box springs could have created a seal around the base of the bed, which created a casket-like environment, Jantz said.

&quot;People think bodies smell to high heaven, but it doesn't carry very far,&quot; Jantz said. &quot;If it was pretty well sealed, the process slowed even more.&quot;

Millbrook's family knew something was wrong the afternoon she went missing, when the 28-year-old didn't pick up her children from school.

Hotel staff said she hadn't paid her bill the day before. They locked up the room, packed her belongings in trash bags and gave them to the family.

She had lived there for a few weeks with her children and the father of four of her children, LaKeith Moody, who had recently been released from jail, police deputy chief Joseph Scott said.

Moody disappeared the day Millbrook did. The couple had a rocky relationship with domestic abuse, Scott said. Within a few days, it was clear to police that this was no longer a missing-person case. It was a homicide, Scott said.

Authorities found Moody a few weeks later in Millbrook's car. He was arrested on a federal charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun. He was questioned about Millbrook's disappearance. He is being held at the West Tennessee Detention Center in Mason, as a person of interest in Millbrook's death.

The Missing Persons Unit first visited the hotel two days after Millbrook vanished, but didn't go inside the room, Scott said. The staff had already cleaned for the next visitor, who was already in the room.

Homicide detectives returned on Feb. 4 to interview the staff. The room had been cleaned and rented several times since Millbrook was last seen.

Was there any blood spatter? Anything unusual about the room, any evidence of foul play, they asked the staff.

No, detectives were told.

Police Director Larry Godwin immediately ordered an internal investigation to see if the department made mistakes in the investigation.

&quot;Did we do something wrong?&quot; Scott said Wednesday afternoon at a press conference. &quot;Did we miss something? Is this is an opportunity to learn and grow? We owe it to this family and we will go down that road, and until that is determined we will not comment on that internal investigation.''

A whole next spin on tourism. Last time I was there we were at some little airport stopping for gas in a little plane. I wanted to go back it looked like a nice place. Well, I must say after reading about the place here, it is the last place on earth I would go!

Better not let the chief of police see your post MissyM, you'd be watching your back on the regular. lol...a joke mi mek.

I did notice that that Memphis was frequently the city on the first 48 hours. Miami was up there too.

It seems that when it comes to Sonny Millbrooks' murder everything takes a long long time. If you recall. she is the young mother of children ages 14- 4 months whose body was discovered under the mattress in the hotel room.

Her autopsy results just came back, and she was strangled to death. Experts say the form of death will often lead you to the killer, and strangling is very PERSONAL, and the person would have to be powerful and very angry to pull it off. Strangling someone to death does not happen quickly or easily (not like in the movies), so this in turn points directly back to the father of her 4 children.


Do people still know the divorce courts work very well?? Worked for me just fine.
