I certainly don't think you are dumb.HRC could have won in EC, her Campaign could have crafted a better strategy to speak to the strength and/or weaknesses of the EC. As I said polling models were wrong. It was correct in predicting raw vote count and the results showed that. It was just wrong in were it sent HRC to campaign,The EC itself is not static and has been changed over the centuries since it was established. Barack Obama crushed two separate GOP Candidates in EC, so we know Democrats can win.

I understand what you're saying Tuffy but you won't concede that the system is flawed ...She is up by 2 million votes and counting name another democratic system this bizarre?...The EC should back Clinton next month.....

The system is not perfect, but failing any other evidence, it is not flawed.Many of DJT backers in the States that constituted HRC Blue Firewall were registered Democrats and are perdurable. The problem is the GOP had been working on them for years. They Gerrymandered the most liberal of them out of existence.Diluted the power of the Union Machine.Used negative connotations of race, religion, education, guns and the military to poison the waters to their advantage.Finally the destruction of the economy, the never ending wars of GWB era drove them firmly in the gasp of the GOP.This was what HRC had to speak to. This was what she needed to overcome to keep the Blue Wall from buckling.She could not. She had a fall off of her own Left Leaning supporters who were Bernie-tized into thinking that she had called Blacks Super-Predators (and came to it all by herself). That she was two-faced and could not be trusted. That Like #44 she was too Centrist and could not/would not deliver on things that mattered to their Constituency, even when it was written in stone.
