More seriously I see Peter Phillips still wants to be leader... I hope they do what the JLP did and by pass the second tier of leadership.. by pass the 70s generations..
JLP went through some tough leadership challenge when Andrew Holiness was first elected but they came through this stronger..
Julian Robertson would be the ideal, but I suspect the beauty queen will apply...Comment

I agree but the one seat lead is tenuous.... given the local government victory... ie 13 out of 14 one shared that is worth a gamble... plus the last two quater growth makes it an attractive prospect.... When last did labour win back to back elections? what I think is not to read too much into local elections with 30% voter turnout!
Given that whoever wins the PNP leadership the other side could be tempted to dethrone. ..say the PNP place Hanna as the next leader... Peter will be snapping attractive to her heels, like Samuda was at Andrew.... and Phillips was at Lucre ca.

I don't know that we have the best Government now. What I do know is that the fissures are so deep that it unlikely any Elections in the next few cycles is going to produce a runaway winner. Whoever is in power and means Jamaicans any good have to satisfy even if it is a half a seat.
The JLP Party has won two elections in short order now is time to govern.Comment

I was montitoring the FB Posts of a guy I have known since the 80s in the Jamaica. He is a good Comrade and staunch supporter of PSM.
