I applaud the writer of the article, on Jamaicans.com main page, for the stance he/she took!
Just a couple points though:
The so-called-war is costing about 9 billion dollars per month, so it would put it way past 30 billion dollars since 9-11, in cost to the America tax payers. I think we are at somewhear in excess of $700 bllion.
Also, it has been approximately 36 years (beginning with President Nixon in 1974) since any President has been successful in passing any healthcare reform legislation of this magnitude. Nixon tried and failed. Yes, Clinton tried, but the ball got rolling with Pres. Nixon.
