I applaud the writer of the article, on Jamaicans.com main page, for the stance he/she took!

Just a couple points though:

The so-called-war is costing about 9 billion dollars per month, so it would put it way past 30 billion dollars since 9-11, in cost to the America tax payers. I think we are at somewhear in excess of $700 bllion.

Also, it has been approximately 36 years (beginning with President Nixon in 1974) since any President has been successful in passing any healthcare reform legislation of this magnitude. Nixon tried and failed. Yes, Clinton tried, but the ball got rolling with Pres. Nixon.

I thought the price tag over 10 years was over 9 million?

Although I have a feeling that the present unrecognized savings from reduced Medicaid.
Not to mention increased productivity from healthier more productive workforce will drastically reduce this cost.

The problem is that the population is semi-educated.But don't fell anybody that I said it.
They are educated to the ideal point where there are most sussestible to manipulation.
This give opportunity for the majority of the population to be micdirected by the educated deviants who collectively use equally miss-educatd as their tool in the process .

Well, if ah war, 9 million may have been a smoke and mirrors pipe dream of Bush and Congress, but dat noh whe near reality.
