Popular entertainer 38 year-old Rodney Pryce otherwise called “Bounty Killer” of an East Avenue, Kingston 10 address was arrested by the police at his home this morning.
According to the Constant Spring Police about 6:40 a.m., Pryce was arrested after a warrant for Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm was executed on him. Allegations are that on Thursday, March 25, 2010 Pryce’s female companion decided to end their three year relationship. He however refused and reportedly attacked her physically.
A report was made to the police and following investigations a warrant was issued for his arrest. When he was being processed at the Constant Spring Police Station, in keeping with standard police operating procedure, Mr. Pryce was allowed to make a telephone call. He used that opportunity to call the complainant and threatened her life in the presence of the police. He has been refused station bail and will appear in the Half Way Tree Resident Magistrate Court on April 7, 2010.
