Is there some valid reason why I could not choose to take the winter months as my time off as opposed to the reverse?

I got to lift weights, grease up with vaseline, or what exactly to meet the goal? I'm never going to like bitter winters, but I have put up with things I don't necessarily like all the time. Surely my dislike for frozen toes can't be the major determining factor. It seems rather superficial.

I looked up Yellowknife and it doesn't look too bad. The diamond capital of North America, eh? I was a bit concerned that that all the pics on the city Website contained not a flake of snow. That does not seem right. However I'd love to check out the northern lights. I'm not sure if this means they have white nights too though. I would not be so thrilled about that. I think the place does warrant a visit though.
