nah not taking 'personally' to heart so much as annoyed by the amount of gossip and bee ess that's attempted to be passed off as serious information nowadays. and even more annoyed at how many of the public actually buy into this nonsense, & then copy/paste/repeat it as if it's factual information, thereby only creating more of a market for the National Enquirer mentality to prevail.
trip reports are a different animal - yes of course the quoted passage also applies to them, but that's not the point. those are written first-person by the somebody who directly experienced the events. it's totally up to them what to include, embellish, whatever - or not. regardless of whether they're truthful or just juicy gossip - it's the person themself telling it, they can do whatever they wish with their <span style="font-style: italic">own</span> information. anyone who chooses to read tr's is aware the person relates only their own <span style="font-style: italic">opinions</span>.
that's separate and distinct from someone <span style="font-style: italic">else</span> writing <span style="font-style: italic">about</span> the person, and making money by passing off second-hand gossip and shady misinformation as if is fact.

Jamaica need to step up it's action in prosecuting rapists and those who commit incest.
