Now I don't know that Baltimore is the Heroin Capital of the world (It seems Heroin Addiction is a widespread problem in the USA and over the last few years I have seen articles mentioning various places as the so-called Heroin Capital of the USA)....but, what does Heroin Capital has to do with the fact the Billie Holiday is most noted for singing Strange Fruit?

Not of the world, but of the US. Watch National Geographic's Drugs Inc, it has Baltimore as heroin capital of US.

Heroin capital has nothing to do with Hoilday. I was just reminiscing about my home town where I was born and raised. I recently road past her statue in Baltimore and it is in an area ripe with heroin addiction...it just had me thinking about both.
