I mentioned the program on a thread started by Serenity82.. I thought the program was thought provoking especially the comment about Trindad and Tobago... I thougjt I had not heard it beofre but could not then I recall a book on the Geography of the Carribean and now the latent memory comes through of the comparative economy of the Carribean and in the 70's TT had no tourism revenue.. Now they have tobago...

i am always amused by people who travel who say they are not like typical tourist...

I travel alot for a living so avoid roughing it. Having spent a few decades in lets say less selubrious diesease filled hell hole with every manner of bug, rat, virus trying their best to invest in my personal living space or seeing me as a viable food source breeding template, or the local residents trying to exsangunate me. ... I now want my creature comforts... I am into 4 star kinda guy.. Would go 5 star but got the family comes with me and it gets expensive... If I travel alone then yeah it is 5 star!

Ok I am in the air coming back from Jamaica doing my research on LIving with tourist.....and I have no conclusions....
