I work in the publishing field and I have seen many a printing error over the years that put a whole new spin on the intended meaning.

One was similar to the above example. A food distributor advertising a healthy meatloaf listed the ingredients which included &quot;fresh pieces of ground children&quot; instead of &quot;fresh pieces of ground chicken&quot;.

We also did a entire campaign to promote the elimination of illiteracy. The only problem being that throughout the entire finished product the word illiteracy was spelled &quot;illitteracy&quot;. It was shipped to thousands of households. This happened back in the day before spell check.

I did until about 1990. How fast things change!

in a previous life i arranged book signings...did some really great ones...the most unusual was Anne Rice wen she did her 40 city bus tour...staging that signing was a hoot...ah memories...did that author who wrote Midnight in the Garden etc 6 months before it hit the bestseller list...he was a downer...winter blizzard n nobody showing up...memories...the best treat was a publishing house sending me their entire 'black' selections....ah memories

use to love anne rice's books..I stood in line for hours in the village to get her siggy on the 3rd book...at the time she was a dowdy looking hausfrau type....when I first saw her I couldn't believe this dowdy woman wrote all those other erotica novels...quite an imagination she has couple yrs later she started to look like one of her vampire characters.
