you could be from jamaica and be indian...
indian descent people still answer to "indian" no matter if they are jamaican, guyanese, trini, etc...
they see it as their ancestry...
african descent people can learn something from them-
instead we deny our heritage & choose to be called just a color...
in some places some indians are also called 'black' </div></div>

so if you saw an 'indian' person in the street & did not hear them speak...can you tell if they are from jamaica, guyana or india?
the true jamaicans are tainos/arawaks...
so-called "black' jamaicans are transplanted africans who have been on the island for about 500 years...so-called 'coolie' or indian been on it for about 200 years
