Answer #1-No I do not like Memphis....please don't say "just move then"...can't too many obligations family wise here and investments etc.
Also, it could be so much more, as could any place in the world I guess. This board for years has hosted complaints about the way Jamaica goes, people, violence, politics, economics.....mostly by Jamaicans who don't even live there anymore, nor own property there.
THIS is MY Jamaica...this is where I live, so it is my reality. This being a discussion board, I was discussing those things which concern me and my world and envrionment.
Sorry if I make you uncomfortable talking about the peeps here, but there are whole websites dedicated to this kinda stuff like www.hotghettomess.com, because some of us recognize that we can laugh/joke. poke fun at the best and worst of ourselves.

I'd move to Jacksonville, except I know Miss Thang is itching to move as soon as our child is out of HighSchool, so there I would be sitting with my dead grass and all alone anyway.

Yep word does get around, and THEY in turn sometimes know way more about ME than I would like. (Not speaking of anything I post, just the ones who go into FBI mode to find out even more)
But that is not really the point at hand....your question dealt with A. my feelings about Memphis and B. YOUR contention that I am especially hard on BLACK people here....if you lived here, you would see that I cut them a break....just like in Jamaica there is a distinct class difference between the rapper set and their followers in Memphis, and those that consider themselves middle class or above, enlightened, educated, what have you.... all around the world, same old song, no better or worse than the classism I observe among Jamaicans, and people on this board are first to poke fun at each other about it.

I'm not in the mood for analysis nor confrontation today...I will post about what I like, your comment has been received, but I hear you loud and clear you feel I'm too hard on these folks...You MIGHT KNOW Memphis, but you don't LIVE here every day...
