I don't know what is taking them so long to find him. The first time he had not gotten out of Memphis. Maybe that is why they got the daddy and brother so quickly because they might have helped him the first time. Still if you look beyond my dry humor you will see that I feel some civil rights are being violated in this police state I live in. I never heard of arresting folks &quot;just in case&quot;, they need lawyer.

I did not like Hustle and Flow, and went under the mattress when &quot;It's Hard Out Here for A Pimp&quot; by 3/6 Mafia won SONG OF THE YEAR at the oscars.

As for the pregnant girl in the movie, Tarji Henson, so is a great actress and has gone on the other projects since that movie.

(Memphis, 4/28/2010) A convicted killer who slipped away from authorities twice is now back behind bars at the Shelby County Jail.

Dearick Stokes, 21-years old, was captured Wednesday evening at a Relax Inn on Third Street near the Mississippi line.

Stokes was mistakenly released by jailers last Thursday, and had been on the run ever since.

Authorities were tipped off when Stokes' brother, Bobby Partee, came to the Criminal Justice Center to file a complaint about officers harrassing him.

After several hours of questioning, authorities say Partee eventually spilled the beans about his brother's whereabouts. Authorities say Stokes surrendered peacefully in room 117 of the Relax Inn. He was found with a stash of insulin, as he is a diabetic.

Investigators with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Office always suspected Stokes' family members were helping him hide. In fact, News Channel 3 was there on Monday when marshals took Stokes' father Jake into custody.

Both Jake Stokes and Bobby Partee have been charged as accessories.

Dearick Stokes is also charged for failing to return to custody when a new warrant was issued, although it doesn' t really matter considering he is already sentenced to life in prison. Stokes was convicted of killing a man during an attempted robbery.

This was not the first time Stokes' had slipped away from officers. During his sentencing hearing in February, Stokes excused himself to go to the bathroom and left the courthouse unnoticed. He was captured in March.

Stokes may be transferred to a facility in Nashville as soon as Thursday. Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell says the results of his department's internal investigation may also be complete, shedding light onto what happened to allow Stokes back on the streets.

So the cops were right, the father and brother were aiding and abetting. Looks like they can have the family reunion at 201 Poplar Just DG.
