This comedian once said you'd never see black folks on their all laid out cause we don't bungee jump hang glide, sky dive ,ski, scuba, deep sea fish, mountain climb.......snowboard, surf....

yes yes I know the joke and my joke back considering we have Jamaican Olympic Skiers, Bobsled, Mushers, etc that if you do see the one black guy chasing a storm chances are s/he could be jamaican

I am so intimidated by tornadoes that I could not be a storm chaser for no amount of money. When I lived further south, you should have seen me evacuating when a hurricane was coming. (I'm assuming everyone knows, but I'll say it anyway. Hurricanes can spawn tornadoes on top of everything else that is going wrong.)
For some odd reason though, I do want to get a good look at a tornado. Of course I want to be far enough away to be safe, but I admit I want to see one.Comment

Can you imagine? They said it was over a mile wide at the base. I am sure I'd be headed for emergency cardiac surgery.
The thing I find most threatening is the random nature of them. They can tear up every house on the street except one and then hop two streets over and start mashing that one up. It makes it impossible to know which way to run.
They really do (whoever they are) need to try to work on a better early warning system.Comment
