I picked a 'random' post where mzungu (and the required negative adjectives) had been used excessively and replaced the word mzungu with the word black.

I couldn't even log out of ja.com and log back in before the ENTIRE POST had been DELETED.

Just like with mzungu, you have been misinformed.

Grammar aside (Wazungu is the plural of mzungu in Kiswahili), the word Oyinbo (Yoruba language) or Oyibo (Igbo) of Nigeria is not an offensive word. Matter of fact you would be surprised to know, that in Nigeria, African Americans who visit as well as light-complected foreigners are also refered to as Oyinbo/Oyibo depending on which part of Nigeria they are from.

So Blu, you may or may not be a mzungu but you definately a Oyibo. </div></div>
