I feel you bro. Living here amongst whats happening is unbelievable because there is so much good still existing 24x7.
Until, until it happens directly then the real tragedy is felt.
The main culprit is tolerance. Too many of us Jamaicans tolerate badness. Some of us embrace it. Some of us take it as entertainment especially when the saga of the gaza vs the gully is verbally spewed to the enjoyment of too many.
The law also tolerates murder sad to say, because of greed and corruption. If the money is right, a bashed or blown off head
is quite in line with a days income.
Then you got witnesses who will partake in road blocks and will protest loud and articulately, but have them give statements or turn up in court, then they suddenly become absent like vapour, which leads back full circle to corruption where citizens have zero trust in authority. The police are the enemy. If too much is revealed, ones head in turn will be blown to bits too is the main fear.
So murders go unabated. No one is caught unless you being a suspect become a statistic on the police killings list.
The rate of police killings has not served good obviously. The rate is much too high to the point where we have become barbarians in what was paradise.
A nation without trust cannot attain justice and without justice there can be no peace.
