Wahalla need your help

Wahalla, Do you recognize, or do you know anyone in Scotland that might know the foundry or bell maker that made this ship's bell, or the type of vessel it came off of?
I was told the stamp on the side of the bell (opposite side of the date) was Scottish. I bought the same type bell from an antique dealer in Maryland. The only difference is that the bell I purchased was made in 1839. The link(below) for the bell with pictures is from an auction house in England. I contacted the auction house, but they have not replied. Thanks

But one thing Berick on Tweed is in England!!!

Ok why dont you contact the Aberdeen Maritime Museum see website. below I am sure there may be other sources but it is the only museum that i been to in scotland and they are pretty helpful!

I just sent them an email and I will let you know the results. The person that sold me the bell said that it was purchased in Holland in the early 1960s and brought back to the US.
I contacted a friend from England that lives in the US and they examined the bell and said the stamp appears to be Scottish, but they were not certain.

No, not yet. Aberdeen answered, but said they were in the middle of some type of transition and were unable to help at this time.
I'm still looking...
