JOHN Issa, the SuperClubs chairman said he was happy about the publicity generated from staging the "largest nude wedding in the world" several years ago at his Hedonism hotel.
Issa, who was giving a follow-up deposition in his lawsuit that began in January last year in the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida, was responding to questions from Attorney Reginald Clyne of Clyne and Associates, representing the defendants.

The SuperClubs boss is claiming that he was defamed by e-mails traced to computers originating in that US state.
Issa also said in answer to Clyne that it was appropriate for couples who were paying guests to come to his hotel to have sex with different partners, "if that is their lifestyle".
The hotelier added: "If homosexuals check in, I don't go and... I'm not homophobic."
Clyne: "Talking about that, do you think it's appropriate for homosexuals to be having open sex in your hotel?"
Issa: "It's as bad as heterosexuals having open sex. Why do you distinguish? Are you homophobic?
Clyne: "I'm just asking you."
Issa: "No. Are you homophobic?" Why do you distinguish?" You have a problem, you know, because you were talking about black men in swimsuits and white men in swimsuits. Do you have a complex? I'm glad... I'm Semitic so I don't have to choose between black and white, but you have a problem."
Clyne: "You promoted the largest nude wedding in the world."
Issa: "Yes."
Clyne: "And you're proud of that? You're smiling."
Issa: "Yeah, we got a lot of publicity."
Clyne: "Okay. And would you agree with me that marriage is supposed to be a sacred ceremony? It's in the Bible."
Issa: "Will you stop. I'm not going to tolerate any of this sort of religious prejudice here. A lot of people are not concerned about the Bible and get married. So please don't bring your Taliban attitudes to this questioning. I'm not going to answer that."
Clyne: "How did I become Taliban?"
Issa: "Because you want to legislate morality. You want to tell people what they can do. That's what's wrong with the Taliban. That's what I'm telling you. You're falling into the same trap."
Clyne: "So you think everything should go? There should be no moral code?"
Issa: "No."
Clyne: "Everybody does what he wants?"
Issa: "Within the law, people live according to their beliefs."
Clyne: "Is it lawful to have open public sex in Jamaica?"
Issa: "No and I told you it's not permitted at the hotel. If management finds out... I don't know if some of my staff take a tip and close their eyes....If management finds out, it's dealt
