It is quite common for a spouse to pass on shortly after the death of their husband/wife. So it is with losing a job you love as well. Same as a death in the family.

A stalwart and a true son of the soil. It is a pity that the way they treated him after 30yrs of service on Saturday allowed him to have a heart attack. These stories is what let me work no more than 3yrs with a company. Too many long serving employees are treated in bad taste because they stand up for their rights. My condolences to his family.
