Can an officer of the US court issue a subpoena requiring a Jamaican member of the JLP to appear in a US court in the event that action is taken against Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in order to determine if Manatt, Phelps and Phillips have breached the Foreign Agents Registration Act by representing the JLP and not the Government of Jamaica in a treaty dispute. {I am referring to a subpoena not an extradition order}
If so, what could the US do if the subpoena is ignored?

that is a good question ..

remember they hold their secret Grand Jury inquiry ..
then issue the subponea (sp) or whatever..
but mostly the public ones mi hear bout are for big time druggists.. and cartels biggas ..

One of the things that I think that I have learned from the current mess is that since deceitful politicians apparently are not punishable under Jamaican law then they are also not extraditable. Or am I interpreting it incorrectly?

The more Mr. Golding wriggles, the more he implicates the lawyers and threatens their livelihood. I am sure they are going to defend themselves.

no..all dem , di JLP haffi do is claim diplomatic immunity..i am sure dem all travel pon such a passport....now if di said JLP individual ha bizniz etc in the US, dem can outwait dem govament job and get dem under in re...at least dat is how mi would dweet

now wid all dis terrorism an suspension of normal rule of law who to tell wat can be done...dem could snatch dem n tek dem to a 'neutral' country fi ?....all dis is really against di rule of law but dese days mi cannot swear fi uncle sam
