Say did I tell you the one about the sister who was P'd off with the police at the precinct the other day so she just went outside got in her car, drove it into the lobby to run over the two officers, backed it up and revved it and rammed the lobby again???
A woman is in jail, after she intentionally ran her vehicle into a Memphis police precinct on Friday, May 7, police say.
Stephanie Vester, 36, is charged with two counts of criminal attempted second degree murder and one count of vandalism.
According to police, Vester drove her 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse into the Memphis Police Department West Precinct.
After running into the building’s lobby, officials say Vester put the car into reverse and then back into drive, attempting to run further into the building.
No officers or civilians were injured in the incident. Vester was also not hurt.
The damage to the building and a copy machine inside the precinct is estimated to cost $15,000 to repair.
Police have not said why the woman crashed her car into the building.
