So only 2 R&B/HipHop stations left in South FL and yessideh on the drive home mi tun on de station only to hear bare spanish music on one of them \o/

Dem say Clear channel decide to make it a spanish station cause de demographics There's @ least 4 other spanish stations already down here though

No more Stawberry Letta fimi a mawning time @ least mi wi reach work on time

But couple friends that worked at the station out of a "day" job They could've made an announcement or give ppl some warning, but NADA

Now replaced by &quot;103.5 Super X&quot; as of noon today, they already have a fully functioning site, and promises to play Spanish hits from the '80s, '90s, and today. That sounds an awful lot like 97.3 The Coast's old slogan, doesn't it?

&quot;Based on the South Florida population being over 50 percent Hispanic and growing, adding a second Spanish-language format to the cluster provides us the best opportunity to mirror the South Florida market,&quot; Clear Channel Radio/Miami President/Market Manager Brian Olson says. &quot;The addition of 103.5 Super X will strategically complement Mega 94.9. Radio in South FL is terrible. A bare CD me a run when me reach dem ends.

Considering the West Indian population in SoFL, it's beyond me that all we get is one deggeh deggeh AM station and nothing on FM except some weak bandulu stations that last a few months before dem get lock off. At least Vibes FM was nice before Wilma killed it, now a bare drought.

Me hear 103.5 sometime but me nuh really listen. De only radio me a listen is 105.3 sometimes or 810 out of the Bahamas.

Even de Haitian dem nuh really de pon de air. Is only one Haitian station I hearing all the while an mi nuh sure seh if a pirate ting or not.

It seem seh a bare Spanish ting a gwaan dehso. The rest is top 40 crap, some bad hiphop with too much idiot commercial inna it and some country noise. Situation real bad. So if unu a go dung a FL bring nuff CD or yuh gwine sing to your own self.
