Miss Haiti 2010

Will be the first Miss Haiti to compete in Miss Universe since a long time. I heard her speak this morning and her accent is clearly hispanic ala' Cuba or Puerto RIco.....SO what do you notice about the winner as opposed to the also rans???
But perhaps she was the best choice, I don't know, I wasn't there.



I was fully in agreement with the judges on the choice for Miss USA, she was the best one out there,.....but really,,she's Arabic decent, born in the US, and Muslim. One LOve yall

I'm not all together sure they were interested in selecting a Miss Haiti or getting someone who might be able to compete on that Miss Universe stage successfully and bring the crown home

ok did a little snooping...I was right,... accent is from Dominican Republic

Saroj Bertin, a woman from Port Au Prince has been crowned Miss Haiti Universe. She represented Haiti in Miss Intercontinental 2005. Her mother was Mirielle Durucher Bertin, a famous lawyer who was murdered in 1994 when she was around 4 years old. She followed her mother's footsteps and is a lawyer now. After her mother was murdered, her family moved to the Dominican Republic where her father remarried a Dominican.

Personally,,,, if I were selecting a Miss Haiti I would have gone with #13...classic beauty....but yeah I know we wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell at Miss Universe.

I don't condone the contest Marilyn. Matter of fact is because they had such a terrible year they should hold the contest as a diversion to their everyday misery.

Frankly I don't find any of them attractive. And I know they are plenty hot Haitian women out there.
