Re: Air India plane crash
This was an accident waiting to happen.
India has experienced a rapid growth in the aviation sector in the last decade and the infrastructure and training are not able to cope with the increase. Their British-built airports are falling apart, their air traffic control systems rely on procedural control in many places, and cannot handle the traffic.
India, which used to rely on qualified expat pilots feeding their growth has in the last couple of years started a move to get rid of the foreign pilots and quickly train and replace them with Indian youngsters. This has lead to a very unexperienced pilot group flying in the Indian skies.
I'm not sure if this is the direct cause of this particular accident, but I suspect that the investigation will probably prove me right.

Re: Air India plane crash
India got independence groom Britain long before those airports were built.
In the 40's there're were no airports.
What the British built was train lines And stations.
The airstrips were mostly world war two remnants That was developed by the Indians after independence.
The problem with Idnia is They do a poor job of maintenance And improvements on Just about every sphere of their whole society.

Right. Flights are landing in Delhi from 1912.
India's first airline was started in 1915. Tata Airlines. Same Tata company that makes cars today.
