They openly use drugs amd brag about it in interviews and in their songs, they are sex machines, ah you name a commandment, they break it. But in the end someone in Britains immigrations department made the call, and I don't think it is gonna change.

we have paid to see nuff 'crackheads' perform and loved them for their TALENT... good discussion about whether we focus on the perons private life or their talent...

Personally it wouldnt bother me seeing a crackhead perform,as long as it didnt affect their voice,or their ability to perform
However,what label would we give to people like Whitney houston,Bob marley,the entire members of the who,..and all the other talented artistes that have dabbled with one drug or another,or lived flawed lives but are geniuses on stage.

It;s difficult judging performers based on their private lives,do we decide to watch someone if they only smoke ganja,but not if they smoke crack,or someone if they are convicted of assault,but not if they beat their wife...?

If we were to judge singers,musicians based on their private lives none of them would be in business for very long,what about our favourite movie stars,do we not go and see a movie because someone slapped his wife or was involved in a domestic argument...?

Good question marilyn,.....bottom line is,I'm not a big fan of chris brown,there are very few artistes out there now that I would pay good money to go and watch,I am a 80's old school fan,cant stand some of the stuff that is passed off as music nowadays.
having said that,there are so many artistes and performers out there that falls very short of what we consider normal behaviour that it would be very difficult for us to decide who to support and who not to,it would be down to personal preferences,I asked my daughter why she still wanted to watch chris based on his conviction,she replied that she wasnt interested in his private life,just his music,which she likes.

Then after the &quot;incident&quot; I heard this &quot;Changed Man&quot; one that was supposed to make Rihanna come back to him, and that is it, so tell your daughter to have at it, cause I can live without him.

We judge all the time,that is what we do on a daily basis,we have to make judgement calls in order to survive,however,each judgement has to be taken into context with other criterias,making a judgement and assessing a situation based on its merits are two entirely different thing.
