So this 65 year old grandmother in Memphis....the cops came to her neighborhood looking for SOMEONE ELSE, and by way of searching,they happen upon her driveway. Growing in 4 pots in open view were 4 marijuana plants.

"Do you know what this is?" asked the police officer.

"Yes, It's reefer",she replied, "I planted it."

So she was handcuffed and taken to 201 Poplar (Just DG), and there she sits on 5,000.00 bail with a court hearing this morning..



As an aside to this, we had a mother her baby in a hot car to suffocate last week and her bail was 1,000.00.

America's attitude to marijuana is pathetic!

I was reading an article that California - the article was called "Yes we Cannabis!" - may decriminalise it, and tax it to help alleviate their debt.

What a good idea! Think of all the tax dollars you would save if all those tokers were let out of jail!

That about the baby is very sad

Yep I was trying to catch the evening news to see what happened to her in court today. As soon as I find out I will let you know.
