I know crime is everywhere, and for every story I can tell, you can tell one from your community as bad or worse. This didn't happen in Memphis, but in nearby Arkansas, but there is something about this one that especially bothered me.
This 80 year old woman was IN CHURCH, when this man came in , robbed her, stole her car, and beat her to death WITH THE BRASS CROSS off the church altar.
That same cross that has probably been on the altar of the church all of us grew up in.
I just honestly don't know how low a person can be, and where else an 80 year old person should feel safe.
God this one bothered me deeply.
