We arrived last night. I have an unlock phone, any one knows where I can buy sim card in Ochy/runnaway bay? Right now, I am using Skype, which is very cheap, but I need internet to use it.

Gotta tell u all dis, there were bout 5 US cops checking each person at our plane door from Orlando. dem ask, how much money you got? if was more than 10k, you gotta tell them way u get it. dey randomly pick somea wey outta line. JA gone globalize to ratid.

me never carry so much in cash ever dow, de most me ever carry is $5g, and dat alone was hard enuff fe hide in my handbag~~ me naaa declare a ting~

$5-G is not breaking the law - only <span style="font-weight: bold">over 10-G</span> is against the law. (and has been from time. as someone said, this is nothing new - only them stopping ppl to ask them directly, is new)

anyway nowadays with ATM's who need fe carry that much cash anyhow? can jus draw it out the bank when you reach -

Lol!....she may not be breaking the law but a bet yu shi guilty of something else.

I rarely carry much cash when I go Ja,just enough emergency money should I need it to get out of a fix.
As you say,I draw mine from the bank`s cashpoint,,and I also hold an account there that I keep toppped up.

i don't carry much cash anywhere i travel anymore either - ATM &amp; debit cards work all over the world now, and if there was ever a problem with them, there's credit card as emergency backup- -

Pooh and I recently opened a Bank of America checking account for the sole purpose of getting the almost free withdrawals from Scotia Bank...we'll only have to pay a 1% &quot;exchange fee&quot; or some such bandulu business.....

Great idea Dave. I just got my application from Jamaica National in the mail today - just to get an ATM card usable in JA. But if BOA has that feature with Scotia, then no need for the account. Thanks for the tip
