Its about CONTEXT.
No.. he was trying to scare her, would it be better if he said a group of white gentlemen should rape her?
Rape is rape and I do not think it matters who is raping you, chances are she wont like it.

But back home in Jamaica My friends used to on occasion in jest and fun or angry or disappointment refer to each other as "<span style="font-weight: bold">old Nayga</span>" or "<span style="font-weight: bold">dutty [censored]</span>". It may have been racial but it was never racist.
In the West it is to some extent one of those words in which one set of people try to use and control another set of peoples emotions.

yah, thats' kinda similar to how i think -

IMHO this guy's issues are much deeper and more far-reaching than his choice of epithet/slur of the moment- i don't think he's 'specifically' bigoted towards only Black people, or any ppl of color.... i think he is an overall arrogant bigoted a-hole, whose inside true self hates everyone & anyone who's different from himself. -- skin color, religion, and anything else, if it doesn't fit 'his' ideas, it is all fodder for insults & disrespect. he can cover up his true character in public, with his shiney hollywood public persona, but in private this kinda thing always comes out. most ppl just don't ever have any record of it, so usually those outside the relationship would never believe their 'nice neighbor' could be 'like that'. but now he's been busted twice, publically, showin his true character - two different objects of derision, but same behavior. so now we can all see what's <span style="font-style: italic">really</span> goin on inside.

to me he comes across as a typical abuser; will say any mean violent nasty thing that pops into mind, just to insult, hurt, & degrade whoever he's goin against, putdowns to make others feel small so he can make himself feel big. verbal abuse is just as destructive as physical. i see him as a garden-variety bigot towards anything that is outside his own narrow set of beliefs, a misogynist, and a bully with an anger problem, who uses verbal abuse to degrade & demean the object of his irrational & uncontrolled anger.

u cannot be serious.
in my childhood home that word, in fact the entire concept it represents, was a washmouthoutwithsoap punishment offense. mommy let us get weh with some of the milder 4-letter words but the F-word and the N-word were, in her mind, equally abhorrent, and absolutely NOT EVER to be said even in jest and <span style="font-style: italic">especially</span> not in anger.. to this day it's never passed my lips, i don't even utter it singing along to a rap tune, even if i love the tune otherwise, that word <span style="font-style: italic">cannot</span> pass my lips. it's ingrained -

In my home all words were freely used, on the right occasion and in the correct situation - context
