Mystery surrounds the fatal shooting of a Jamaican man in the US state of Connecticut.
Detectives in the town of Bridgeport are trying to determine the circumstances which led to the death of 39-year-old Roland McLennon.
He was found lying face down on a street in a pool of blood shortly after 10 o'clock Sunday night.
Mr. McLennon was said to be an illegal immigrant.
Police Lieutenant Chris LaMaine says investigators do not have any suspects, or a motive.
He says Mr. McLennon was frequently in Bridgeport, but had recently been living in New York.
