10k US$ for 1 acre land in JA

Is this a good price? I want to buy 1 acre of land next to main road with water, electric and phone for US$ 10k. The beach is about 15mins away on the undeveloped southern part of the island. My family live 5 minutes away.

I would of like it better if it was waterfront property.

That sounds like a good deal. Check what the land is classified as, whether you can build on it, etc.

Sounds like a fantastic deal to me! (Had to check there wasn't an extra zero in there!).

Only 15 mins from the beach? Sounds perfect! Waterfront, and you might be dealing with the effects of erosion 10 etc years down the line, climate change and all that.

I was in California in a place (Pacifica?) where the houses were literally falling off the cliff, no kidding!

Yea, just make sure it's all above board and you get the title deeds and can get planning permission etc.
