I have considered that scenario,however,all the legal extradition avenues were not yet exhausted,the ja gov insisted that the evidence gained against dudus were through illegal means and goes against jamaican legal process,a process which the US clearly do not respect.
Dudus`s extradition was obviously not in the national interest of jamaica,he was of no interest to the jamaican police previously,and the gov knew that his extradition would not conclude peacefully,why compromise the safety of jamaicans and risk the deaths of innocent people to extradite a man who previously posed no risk.
Why the sudden interest in some little drug peddler from one of the poorest parts of jamaica,as black star suggested,hasnt the US enough on their plates with enough foreign policy committments they have dabbled in.
