The left is rarely, if ever, involved in the national media.
What is called the left by the corporate media are things like the liberal columnists in the New York Times or those liberals sitting on panel shows.
They are not left.

To some people Obama is a communist.
He is called left by most of the media and by all of the millions of morons who depend on talk radio for their opinions.

You can find the real left in a few places like Znet, Granma or TomDispatch and at some links available at TomDispatch but not very many other places.

Noam Chomsky is not only as far left as the spectrum can go but he is also invariably accurate in his observations. You might say he is the antidote to the lies of the conservative (right) and liberal (middle-of-the-road) media and for that reason you will not read his writings in the corporate newspapers, hear him on network radio or see him on television.
He is the expert on U.S. foreign policy. He has been voted the top intellectual in the world.
You will not see, hear or read his writings.

He is representative of the whole left.

The corporate media will not tell the truth and will not let the truth be told by Chomsky and a couple of hundred others who are on the left and who speak the truth.

I don't hold with the "blacks are racist too" argument that people spout off when we discuss injustice and demand justice, as if holding a prejudice - which we all do - justifies hundreds of years of slavery, lynching, Jim Crow, discrimination, etc.

Still, Breitbart may have rendered a service to all thinking black people so that their eyes may be opened to the risks and dangers of "making do" and compromising what is right.

BTW, there's a line of thinking that says Breitbart timed his attack and chose the victim to influence Congress to not vote for funding the settlement due to black farmers for years of discrimination by the same Agriculture Dept. that fired Sherrod.
