okay i'm have to put this out there - it's been on my mind
and the cnn interview made me want to talk about it more
so sherrod had her terrible time this week
but during the speech i heard her speaking with her southern accent then without then again tonight her southern accent - when talking to the "white farmer" she was almost indecipherable
is ebonics alive and well in america? or this was just southern speak . . .
i'm going to try and post some videos for example like: naacp speech - ebonics - TV "tour" this week - english with that soft southern drawl (too slow for the " sound bites" most of the news networks want - and then with the farmer
so do you speak differently at different times - why?
is it race/culture/timing/time/place?
