Not sure what the issue is with the term, help out. Partners help each other, it is just a phrase. Let's not get caught up in the semantics, and political correctness. The point is, wife (girlfriend) help husband (boyfriend), and husbands help wives to make things run smoothly and relieve stress in the household.
