Emperah some kids do this with the yt parents and get away with it but not all.

I remember once when I was sixteen and feel I was so grown up. Told!! not ask my granmere that I was going partying with friends that Saturday night at a club that catered just for young teens, no alcohol and you had to be under 19. (granmere&amp;granpere raised me)

She said, you telling me or you asking me!! I said, I am telling you and am going....she said &quot;litten flicka du ma vara bort lukt dig&quot; <span style="font-weight: bold">Swedish for little girl you smelling yourself</span>. Now!! that was the last thing I remember hearing fore I woke up on the floor I thought I heard birds chirping, but was the ringing in my ears from the backhand I got from her across the side of my head she nevva ramp to drop some lick pon mi iiesi and tell me I don't care what your friends do you are not going to do it.

I can look back now and laugh but then.....I used to cuss some badwerd inna mi hed iiesi nevva dare voice dem cause mi wudda get some lick

Growing up as a teen in the 60s-70s, we youngsters often referred to our parents as the &quot;Old Man&quot; and the &quot;Old Lady&quot; and that was about as far as it would go.
We also made it certain that they our parents never heard us say it like that. We used the &quot;old&quot; word only in peer company.
Never would we derogate the respect due to our elders by calling them Ho and mother F___r as is so rampantly used in the recent past and today.
