Confirmed: RJR is reporting that a senior investigator says enough evidence has been gathered against the JDF soldier accused of slashing the throat of NCU student 23 year old Shannel Norris. It is alleged that shortly before 7pm, the 47yr old JDF reserve soldier and Norris were travelling in the soldiers car when an argument developed, he then pulled a knife and slashed her throat, killing her on the spot.

<span style="font-weight: bold"> If this is not a case for Capital Punishment JUSTICE, then I dont know what will</span>.. This is a clear case of a first degree murder for which a trial should not be un-nessessarily delayed, so he can be quickly executed.. This would be a good case to implement the Re-activation of the Death Penalty using whatever method is most available...

Is this the closest we have come to the long awaited return of Capital Punishment to Jamaica? I guess this came about due to the fact that &quot;appeals&quot; will no longer be accepted by the Privy Council in London... Q, Is this so?

First I am hearing this. As far as I know the Privy Council has not resigned itself from Jamaica`s source of final appellant.
