THE National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists to exercise extreme caution at this time, while travelling along the Junction main road in St Andrew and St Mary, as there are numerous landslides, impeding the flow of traffic.
At least 11 sections of the corridor between Stony Hill and Toms River and Toms River to Agualtavale are now being impacted by fallen rocks and debris, resulting from heavy rains in the area this afternoon. These sections, including around corners, have been reduced to single lane access.
The NWA has mobilised work teams to address the affected areas and hopes to have the corridor safe for travelling before the end of this evening.
