if Brenda Warner was the casting director, the movie about her husband's life may be the most fascinating.

This from Paola Boivin's column in the Arizona Republic:

He has met with producers interested in doing a movie on his life story. If Brenda had her way, Warner said, Denzel Washington would land the lead role.

"It would probably challenge Denzel in ways he's never been challenged before," Warner mused.

Kurt Warner was the star quarterback for the Saint Louis Rams few years ago when he led the Rams to Super Bowl victory. After that he came down with a series of injuries and St. Louis sports fans started dissing him when his team started losing games. Then he went into retirement. He has always been vocal about his religious christian beliefs and got some flak on that. Then he came out of retirement and joined the Arizona Cardinals and did a remarkable recovery taking the Arizona Cardinals to superbowls finals (last year?) but it was not enough for the Arizona Cardinals to win the superbowls. He announced his retirement after that.

There has been a love/hate relationship in America's tackle handball (aka 'football') fandom where Kurt Warner is concerned.
